launch pad uploaded a hardware test how do i view the results?

Asked by Matt_Fontana on 2008-12-04

My computer screen sometimes goes all insane on start up and gets fuzzy blurry and full of lines and messes up my ubuntu start-up and run time and when i hit the screen sometimes it comes into focus and works, so i ran a harware test and uploaded it to launchpad, but I don't know how to view it or even have a clue how to work launch pad. Please help me solve this issue.

Thanks

I also did the test and uploaded it to launchpad. I clicked on the link in Adam's answer and it took me to Matt's results. How do I get mine?
Thanks

You need to change the chessboy500 to your email address minus the @bla.com. Thanks, can you tell me if I can use these results because i don't understand what it means and what is wrong with my system.

Hey Matt,
Sure I will send you my results. But one problem: There is no @bla.com in
it. I replaced chessboy500 with my e-mail address, it didn't work. I tried
my screen name, it didn't work. Any other ideas?

say your email is <email address hidden> you would type
    https://launchpad.net/~bluerules/+hwdb-submissions

This should bring you to that link.

Thanks Adam Buchbinder, that solved my question.

The string you use for your username can be seen if you mouse over your name in the upper-right corner of the page, next to the logout button. The URL it's linked to will be of the form "https://launchpad.net/~SOMETHING". The SOMETHING is your short username. For Matt_Fontana, it's chessboy500; for me, it's adam-buchbinder; for cogito45, it's lamb-rr.
