hwloc package

Do you plan to compile hwloc v2 ?

Hi,

I'm switching on hwloc v2 locally on my computer but if I want to deploy my code on a cluster, my sysadmin needs an official package.

So do you plan to package the v2 also ?

Debian has already packaged hwloc 2 in its "experimental" distribution, see https://packages.debian.org/experimental/hwloc
I assume that this version will (after a certain amount of testing) make its way to "unstable" and "testing", and at that moment Ubuntu will start taking it over into its development version.
My guess is that the first version of hwloc 2 in Ubuntu will be in Ubuntu 19.04 or Ubuntu 19.10.
