sudo apt-get install hardinfo hwinfo

You can use:

sudo hwinfo > ~/Desktop/HWInfo.txt

or:

gksudo hardinfo

For a GUI app.

If you want DNS servers for your OS then run:

cat /etc/resolv.conf
cat /etc/resolvconf/resolv.conf.d/base
cat /etc/resolvconf/resolv.conf.d/head | grep -v '\#'

Should do it
