Ubuntu 9.0.4 supported HP Laserjet 1100 for several weeks. It stopped working from past 4 weeks. Can somebody suggest a solution?

Asked by jharati

I installed Ubuntu 9.04 this summer on my laptop. I had no problem installing HP Laserjet 1100 and print my documents. However for past 5 weeks, I am not able to print any document. I re-installed the printer several times. The printer status shows it is is connected to localhost, but when I send a document to print, there is no response from the printer. I tried to print a Test page without any success.

Please read the already answered questions...: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/hplip

You can also install the hplip-gui package and look in System->Preferences->HPLIP Toolbox

Hope this helps
