How to install new printer not listed in our Ubuntu System, Hp D 1660

How do I install this new printer I just bought?
It was not listed in System, or Synaptic Package Manager.
It is a HP Deskjet D 1660.
The CD that came with it to install was for Windows,or Mac.
Any help would be great. Is there an easy way?
