getting my pc to run my hp 3050 model j610a printer have downloaded hplip still no joy can anyone help ?

getting my PC to run my hp 3050 model j610a printer Ive downloaded HPLIP but no joy,im doing something wrong is their a knack
to opening HPLIP ?
PLease help cheers

the printer is attached by USB.

The PC is connected to the printer via USB.

Try deleting the printer, detach the printer and install the latest HPLIP, reboot and once you log in, connect the printer. It may help
