Where do I get Drivers for Ubuntu 10.10 64 bit for the New HP Deskjet 1000 J110.

Grab the latest HPLIP from the HPLIP site. You will need to mark it as executable then launch it in a terminal as user (not sudo)

I downloaded from source forge

the driver.
I am using ubuntu 10.4 LTS + the HP deskjet 1000 j110 bought yesterday]
I made it executable
I run it
It installed smoothly.
Now I print.

For me too. I bought the same printer. I installed HPLIP 3.11.1 from source forge and it runs nicely on Ubuntu 10.04 and on Ubuntu netbook 10.04.
