hp laser jet 1010 dont work on ubuntu 10.4

Hi, i have ubuntu 10.4 netbook remix and laser jet 1010 gets installed (automatically) but the printer doesn't print. USB cable is plugged in and works fine, Ive tested it on windows system. I searched the forums but nothing helps
