no sound,appear to have 2 sound devices,audigy and on board AC97

I am quite new to this so please excuse my serious lack of expert ease, and spelling.
I have no sound, it would appear that either there is some form of clash as the device manager sees my audigy and the mother board AC97 device.
The AC97 device is disabled in the bios, so not too sure how to proceed.
Ideally I would like to perhaps lose the AC97 device from the devise manager and run with the creative labs device...
I have a dual boot system and and the sound works fine on the 'other' system.....

I have done some work in the terminal screens so understand some commands, but please keep things VERY simple...

I also have an Audigy and AC97 and they both happily cohabit togheter.
Here is the output of an lsmod command which shows both modules:
