AR242x wireless chipset not working in Ubuntu

I have the Atheros AR242x 802.11abg Wireless PCI Express Adapter in my AcerAspire 3680 LapTop and the Drivers for it But my wireless still doesint Work! Can anyone help? i have ubuntu 8.04 or openSUSE 11.0
