New hal 0.5.9 version out with many optimizations...

Asked by Marco Trevisan (Treviño)

Will it be on feisty?
http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/hal/2007-April/007923.html

Hal's main author (David Zeuthen) says about it: «I just released hal 0.5.9. Lots of changes including dramatically reduced resource usage, Solaris and FreeBSD support, ACL management, ConsoleKit support and many other things. Get it while it’s, uhm, hot».

Also if we are on freeze I think that an exception should be done...

I doubt something as deep as this will get into feisty a few weeks before it is released.
