Mount XP Drives

I'm a new user of Linux
After Running the OP from the CD - I can't access Drives C,D which are NTFS and
has Windows XP on them.
Who can I use both partitions for Win XP and Linux

Hi,
To get NTFS support in Ubuntu, you basically need to intsall ntfs-3g, which will enable reading and writing to NTFS partitions. For a detailed guide on how to install ntfs-3g, please go here:

hi,
i have recently crushed my win os due to bitdefender. now I cannot repair at all, and i need to get my data out. i was thinking of using unbuntu, ( which i find it pretty cool-I use it on my other comp), but I do not know where to start.
