Hi Rahul

- Remove:
~/.googleearth, (Ctrl-H to see)
/opt/googleearth,
/root/.googleearth, (need a script)
~/.local/share/applications/googleearth.desktop
/usr/local/bin/googleearth

Then try to install GE by root:
cd /to/GE/bin/file
sudo sh GoogleEarthLinux.bin

After, run GE by sudo:
sudo googleearth

Note that after install GE, if you run it immediately by press Run, then you cannot run it any more by normal user (I read it some where, but not yet have change to check)

- To find out whether 3D acceleration is working, enter in a terminal:
glxinfo | grep rendering
If 3D acceleration is working, the result will be:
direct rendering: Yes

Hello!

I need to resolve the problem with my level of education...
Meaning: 'where' do I go and 'what do I do' exactly?
Example: 'go to the terminal, write and enter the following command...'.
Something like that, step by step. Got it?!

Thanks in advance for your help! :-)

Can you help with this problem?
