gprs/edge wireless pcmcia card

Sierra Wireless AirCard gprs/edge N775 pcmcia. It appears in Device Manager correctly, but I'm not able to configure and to use. I've tryed an "How to" provided by Sierra, but the card still don't work. My machine is an old Toshiba Satellite 1800-614 and OS is Ubuntu 6.06.1. Regards, Giuseppe.

What have you tried to use to dial up? Gnome-ppp, wvdial? What happened when you tries using one of those?
