have new hard drives but will not install any Linux program.

Asked by Bernadett

my mobo is a A8n32-sli delux, I have 2 new 80GBs hard drives that never had any OP system on them. My bios recognizes both hard drives. the hard drives will not allow any Linux operating system to be installed on them, what do I do now?

What do you mean they "will not allow". I've never heard of this, but maybe you need to set in your BIOS to boot from CD first?

A bootloader is a program that loads up an operating system, such as Ubuntu or Windows.

After you have finished installation and rebooted does the live cd start up again?

Did you remove the Live CD after installation?
Is there some small counter going 3...2...1 some time after you turn on your computer?

Can you help with this problem?
