frequency of the monitor

Good afternoon. Help to establish please frequency of the monitor on 85 Hz. In its menu it is impossible to lift above 60 Hz. The monitor allows to work on greater frequencies. At me monitor DELL D1025TM.

Прежде чем вносить изменения, сделайте резервную копию!

Запустите в терминале:

sudo gedit /etc/X11/xorg.conf

Далее в секции Monitor добавьте строки

HorizSync 30-85
VertRefresh 50-120

Сохраните файл и перезапустите X.

можно еще попробовать более "ламерский" способ - поставить в качестве монитора тип Generic, указав в соответствующем окне макс. разрешение монитора - в большинстве случаев появляются более высокие частоты.
