if you are using ubuntu:

sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras

for kubuntu:

sudo apt-get install kubuntu-restricted-extras

No help. Trying to play downloaded movies( torrents ). Audio plays fine, no picture whatsoever.

What codec has been used to create the file?
