Facebook Conectivity Issue

Gwibber is giving me lots of issues, especially when i try to connect to facebook. The authenticate page controls (e-mail and password) have a white font, so i can't see what i'm typing. And when i sucessfully enter the logon details, it just stops. It shows the message "Verifying" and Xubuntu notifies me "Fault Report Detected" in the executable "usr/bin/gwibber-accounts". What's wrong?

lsb_release -a; uname -a; apt-cache policy gwibber

I cannot find a PPA with newer. I suggest you report a bug. You could try an alternative to gwibber
