How to tweet from Gwibber in Ubuntu?

How can you tweet from Gwibber in Ubuntu?
I have added my Twitter account detail & have a send text area with the 140 char limit indicated but when I send a message I see nothing & checking my online twitter page my tweet has not been posted.
I cannot figure out how to use this-I am grateful for helpful answers-thanks

Thanks for your helpful reply.
In fact I should have withdrawn my question as I am now able to use Twitter from Gwibber in Ubuntu.
I'm not sure why it didn't work to start with.
Instead I installed TweetDeck, but then I tried it again after a couple of days and it started working!

I have also now registered on Ubuntu forum and think I will try to ask questions there as I did not get a quick reply here...:-(
I hope for better on the forum :-)
