Using Gwibber
I've setup facebook and twitter accounts in lucid beta gwibber. I start the app and it empty. Shouldn't I see something?
Thanks,
Nithin.

This seems to work for me in both Desktop, and Netbook remix editions:
Uninstall Gwibber from the Universal Software Center., then re-install.
Previously linked accounts should update properly, and if you haven't been able to authenticate facebook, then click the "Add" button up to this point, then that problem should be fixed as well.

I have the same problem as Stephen Fabel has.
Ran Gwibber from the terminal and got the same error message. Also there is no twitter timeline visible.
Removed Gwibber & Gwibber-service from Ubuntu software Centre and re-installed it again. It doesn't solve the problem.
Is there any other way to get gwibber working.

@doson there is already a bug report about the problem you are facing and also there is a workaround on the bug 571858
$ sudo apt-get install bind9
then please do the following https:/

I connect my linux via a wireless router, so the referenced "proedure" does not apply. Does this mean I can't use Gwibber? I get "can't authenticate" errors popping up.
Can you help with this problem?
