swapping keys

Is it possible on eeebuntu 9.04 to reassign the pageup key as SHIFT and the right-shift key as Pageup function? My touch typists are having trouble using the right SHIFT key. Their fingers hit the pageup key on the ASUS PC1000 keyboard and are really wanting it to operate as SHIFT to capitalize a letter.

With the location of these two keys pageup and right SHIFT - if they were swapped it would make the people who are touch typists use the keyboard as they would expect.

if you use xev then you can note the codes generated and maybe reassign those using Xmodmap
