Why is the "libpango3.0-cil" package spelled "cil" and not "cli"?
Why is the "libpango3.0-cil" package spelled "cil" and not "cli"?
Is this an historical accident of some kind?
Or is "cil" not a misspelling of "cli"?

There are 60 packages with "-cil" in their name on Ubuntu focal.
I doubt that this is a typo error.
From /usr/share/
2.1 CLI - Common Language Infrastructure
2.2 CLR - Common Language Runtime
2.3 CIL - Common Intermediate Language
2.4 ".NET" or long "Microsoft .NET Framework"
2.5 GAC - Global Assembly Cache
