gkt+3.0 key label

Asked by AO

I'm an Ubuntu translator. In the resource gtk+3.0 Utopic translations, we have a key label Home and a Key label Begin. I fail to see what keyboard key Begin is as opposed to Home.

My question extends to the key labels KP_home and KP_begin.

Rather the rising the bug flag right away, couldn't someone in the know try to answer this simple question? Maybe there is actually a good reason why this is so.

A question shouldn't be closed just because it is ignored by the devs...

The developers are looking at the bug area of Launchpad. The persons active here in the question/answers there are mainly knowledgeable end users and enthusiasts. So to get into contact with devs, raising a bug is more promising than waiting for an answer that never comes in the question area.

The output of xmodmap in http://forum.ubuntuusers.de/topic/zehnerblock-manoevrieren-texte-markieren/#post-2160051 indicates that KP_begin might be the non-numlock function of the center key ("5") in the numeric keypad block.

I cannot remember that I have ever used that key on purpose, and I do not know any program with a binding of a certain function to that key.

Can you help with this problem?
