Asked by rbh

all the images that I import are large so when I want to view images I have to change the size to "fit" is there a way to do this automaticlly so I don't have to do it for each picture?
Thanks RBH

At my desktop images always appear with the best fit. Now i tried 3-4 Mb files. I use the default image viewer Eye of GNOME. And you?

Yes I use Eye of Gnome by default and this is best fit but my question is in regard to gthumb viewing ,editing and slide shows. They all come up the original size. This doesn't work for slide shows and every time I want to edit or look at a picture I have to fit it. Is there a way in gnome to have all images best fit?
Thanks RBH
