Feature request: maximise window option in Crop view

Asked by w1zard

It would be great if a 'maximise window' option could be added to the Crop view in Gthumb, and the state of the window size saved for the next session.

I spend my life constantly resizing the Crop window manually so I can see the full image clearly.

Hopefully this feature wouldn't be too hard to add?

You can set it on preferences. It remember the latest zoom.

Thanks for the reply, but don't think this is the same thing.

I'm talking about the window that opens when you go to Image>Crop - this window always opens in the centre of the screen, and always resets its size each time. There is no maximise button, but you can drag the corners to resize it. This is the window that I would like to remember its size, and have a maximise button. I do a lot of cropping, and always resize this window to full screen.

This is unfortunately not the best place to ask for new features. Developers keep well away from here....
You have two better options:

raise a bug report for ubuntu - this will be classified as a wishlist
even better, raise it directly with Gnome: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/, you can then link the Gnome bug report to an Ubuntu bug report.

That's a great idea - many thanks. I've opened the feature request here:
