Can't write photos to CD with gThumb

Asked by Dlizard

I am trying without success writing pictures to a CD through gThumb. I click "File" and "Write to CD...". A box called "Write to CD" appears. There are two options: "Current Folder" and "Selected Images". I select some pictures, choose the second option (Selected Images), and click OK in that box. Nothing happens! There is no error message. The controls do not freeze. They just stay there, useless. I can click "OK" forever without any result. When I try the first option ("Current Folder") to see what happens, and click OK, I got the error message "Could not move the items: Invalid parameters". Can somebody help me with this problem? Another question: Is there any other Linux/Ubuntu program that would enable me to burn my pictures into a CD?

This is not an answer..but gThumb under Intrepid does exactly the same thing. Whenever I want to burn a CD of pics I use Brasero..or just the Nautilus CD creator. Dunno why the authors even put in CD creation in gThumb.

Have you filed a bug on this?

After studying the source, I noticed gThumb calls Nautilus to do the actual burn to CD. So the authors did not reinvent the wheel :)

Can you help with this problem?
