Can gthumb show raw images?

Hi guys,

I use DSLR, and I want to edit raw images in Ubuntu.
I found that gthumb can recognize my images as Canon RAW file, but it cannot show them.
Does anyone know if gthumb can show raw images.

Another question, does anyone know a recommended raw editor or raw converter?

Yes, gthumb 2.11.x sees raw images via one of its extensions.

Install the development version (http://linuxfreedomforlive.blogspot.com/2010/08/rilasciato-gthumb-2116-installiamolo-su.html).
