I used skype from medibuntu (http://www.medibuntu.org)
But these packages are currently broken for amd64:
(https://bugs.launchpad.net/medibuntu/+bug/286215)

And I used the following command:
LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib32/libv4l/v4l1compat.so skype
(with installed lib32v4l-0 )
