Which logs and other information to provide about grub2 error

After installing Quantal daily iso (with Ubiquity 2.12.14 from prosposed) I can't boot to new system. Then I turn on pc I'm just in grub rescue >
So what information I must provide to bug report via launchpad or ubuntu-bug from terminal?
both problem on UEFI on and just BIOS without UEFI

The point of ubuntu-bug is that it "knows" the required information.

From a terminal enter

unbuntu-bug grub

This will start the process and should contain most if not all the required information. If more information is needed someone will ask for it in the bug.

And that works if i boot from usb stick live ubuntu to collect information about system installed on HDD?

No, it won't. We probably need the installer logs instead, and it's probably simplest to reinstall to get them. 'ubuntu-bug ubiquity' after the installation finishes but before rebooting (use the "Try Ubuntu without installing" boot option and then run ubiquity from a terminal, so that you can run ubuntu-bug afterwards).

Thanks. I thougt to mount partition and manually add logs to bug report. I'll try then came back from University in the evening

That's fine too - if you do that then we need /var/log/installer/syslog, /var/log/installer/partman, and /var/log/installer/debug.
