Ubuntu Won't Allow Me To Access Windows 7

Asked by Brian Watts

I bought a used Samsung N150 Netbook from a friend and apparently it has Windows 7 Starter on it. At the moment he has Ubuntu on there as well. Whenever I restart or anything, it automatically goes into Ubuntu.

I want to completely wipe the computer and put Windows 7 on it only. I only need this netbook for one single Windows based program.

Since it does not have a CD drive, how do I do this?

Also, I do not have his password so I cant access anything on the Ubuntu end.

Thank you

Hi ,

here is support for Ubuntu. You need support for Windows and specifically on how to create a Windows/Usb , so you can boot from Usb and install.

My suggestion is Microsoft's support or Windows7forums. Go there and they will guide you on how to create such Usb.

Thanks

you'll need a windows CD and install media to reinstall the OS. I suggest you use yourrecovery media, but as stated this is Ubuntu support. Installing Windows isn't supported here.

Can you help with this problem?
