No init found. Try passing init= bootarg. Won't boot from CD either.

I get the "No init found." error when I boot from hard drive. I tried to reinstall from the cd, however it just sits there loading. (Says Ubuntu, with white dots, scrolling red.)

It's 10.04 LTS
