windows boot loader not find

Asked by Mahesh Vijayan

I was using Ubuntu 10.4, yesterday I saw a message that I can upgrade my OS to ubuntu 12.4 in update center. So I select to upgrade. I was using Windows XP as wel as Ubuntu. After this Upgradation I lost the choice of Windows XP from the Linux grub. I want to get It back so that I can use both OS when ever I want.

Open a terminal and do sudo update-grub. Hopefully this should find the Windows bootloader and put it back on the grub screen.
