Change the color of the boot loader

Asked by Ramsey

I have been scouring the internet for an answer with no avail. I am sure it has been answered somewhere because I cant be the only person annoyed with this.

Basically, Ubuntu just made my boot loader purple. like this:

whatever happened to the good ol' black and white bios design?

So my question is, how do I turn the purple boot loader into a black and white one?
I know I have to change a color scheme somewhere, not sure where though.

You could remove the background image and it will look similar.
