cant find ubuntu in dual boot

after i reinstalled win.7, i cant find ubuntu in dual boot, so i tried uninstalling it, but when i click the uninstaller icon, it does nothing

and i installed ubuntu using a torrent download not via wubi & have no live disk

You need to boot to the liveCD and reinstate Grub2. Your ignorant Windows installer has blindly overwritten the Ubuntu bootloader with it's own

ok, but how can i create that image and type these commands if i cant log to ubuntu in the first place ?

1. download the ubuntu .iso file
2. burn the image to a disk
3. boot off the disk
4. re-install grub

you don't need to log into ubuntu to do this.

Its cool, you're just new to the OS, you can burn the ISO with nero if you want, any will do. Just burn as SLOWLY as possible and be sure you MD5 test the ISO before you use it so that you know it is complete and consistent.
