natty 11.04 grub does not boot automatically

hi,
running a clean natty 11.04 , for some reason grub will not auto boot , I have to press "enter" to start the boot process
any idea?

sometimes if you have a CD inserted in the pc grub doesn't boot! However set the grub timeout to 0 and your bootloader will boot automatically the first entry

hey there , I wish was so simple ... :-) timeout was = 0 , apparently grub stopped taking any changes to its config the laptop was
installed from an image (clonezillla) probably it "messed' up the grub I completely removed the grub and its conf files and reinstalled , problem solved!
