Recovering ubuntu from grub rescue>

Dear Friends,

While upgrading to the variant 10.4.2 LTS, have missed some thing , after restarting come out
Grub Loading
Error: the symbol 'grub_puts_' not found.
grub rescue>

Please help me restore my system , have no other Operating System running along.

It seems like the superblock containing grub is corrupted. Your best bet is to backup and reinstall at this point.

Another option would be to simply websearch the error message which brings up workarounds.
Example.

Maybe try this from tty.
sudo dpkg-reconfigure grub-pc

Or just reinstall Grub.
