I can't boot into Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat

When I am trying to boot into Ubuntu 10.10 from the boot menu, it says: ALERT! /host/ubuntu/disks/root.disk does not exist DROPPING INTO A SHELL!

Firstly, try to reinstall boot loader from Ubuntu media: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Grub2#Reinstalling%20from%20LiveCD
