My system can't find any operating system

I have a windows 7 in my computer.also I tried to install ubuntu 10.10 without using vertual box.so after turning off the system I can't reach nor windows neither ubuntu.

I am not still sure after reading your post about how was Ubuntu installed.

You mentioned it was not installed using Virtualbox, right.

But did you install it inside Windows using the Wubi installer or in true dual boot to Windows with Ubuntu on its own partition?

It would be better if you could boot into a Live CD and post the output of bootinfoscript as per instructions here.

It would give us a better idea of your partition setup, OSs and thus advise accordingly.

If you have a true dual boot (not Wubi), try this:
