[Boot direct Windows] Can't see Ubuntu option at time of boot

hello,
I recently installed Win xp sp2 and did everything properly. It never touched the ubuntu drive and was installed in a seperate drive. Now at the time of boot I can't see any choices and the computer is automatically starting in win xp. Plz help.!!!

Windows has probably overwritten your boot loader (grub or grub2 or lilo) with its own bootloader.
As windows totally ignores Linux, it doesn't check to see if anything was already there before overwriting it, thus you lose access to the Linux partitions.

Please see https://help.ubuntu.com/community/RecoveringUbuntuAfterInstallingWindows to restore the original bootloader and fix the problem.
