Can't boot either Ubuntu 10.04 (64-bit) or Windows7
I have a dell laptop with an Intel Corei7 processor and 6 GB Ram. I did the partition to install Ubuntu 10.04 alongside Windows7 and on the first reboot the Grub menu appeared and I booted Ubuntu successfully. The second time I rebooted Grub again appeared normally and I booted in Windows7. WIndows7 did a disk check, but I didn't see any problems when running it. On the third time I rebooted, however, I don't even get the Grub menu. I the following error:
no module name found
Aborted. Press any key to exit.
(upon pressing any key)
-(some information about the patents on the computer)
PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable
PXE-M0F: exiting PXE ROM
Operation System not found
I am able to boot in Ubuntu only with the disk in. This is a very serious problem for me; I would like to either fix this or undo the damage quickly. Thanks in advance for your help.
