Editing grub 1.98

Hi I am a relatively new user to ubuntu
Recently i've updated to ubuntu 10.04 that also updated my grub 1.5 to 1.98
Now I don't know how to edit the grub entries in 1.98
Kindly help me out in this with simple clear step by step instructions coz i am new in this field
