formatted internal hard drive?

I just installed ubuntu on my external hard drive. I had to format my external to ext format. It worked fine and ubuntu installed fine. I restarted and grub bootloader came up and I clicked windows vista launcher. The only thing that came up was gateway recovery. What the hell happened? I never touched my internel drive.

Yes its plugged in. I can boot to ubuntu just fine but windows can't be found in grub.
