Hello

If you install grub, the bootloader of http://neosmart.net/wiki/display/EBCD/Linux will be removed, so be sure you really want that. (However in your place I would do it ;-))
I am uncertain whether you would have any success with sudo grub in a live cd, I doubt it^^. In order to install grub you would first have to do a chroot to your installed system. A detailed description of how to install grub from a live cd can be found in the ubuntu wiki (http://wiki.ubuntuusers.de/GRUB). You can choose one of mehtods described in there, however I would recommend Method two or three.
However, be carefull!!! Altering with your boot loader might probably lead to not being capable of booting windows any more. So I would recommend that you backup any important data before you do this...
If you are using windows primarily and can afford a reinstallation of ubuntu, I would recommend that, since the installer of ubuntu configures dual boot with windwos automatically (This is usually working like a charm^^ and would be the safest way)

Greetings

Thank you b1 for the reply, but I just resolved my problem when I found other forum advised to use the easyBCD ver. 2 Beta.
