This is a well-known issue, unfortunately.

Instructions to get back the ability to dual-boot to Windows or Ubuntu:

Unfortunately, it will involve some command line interactions. At some point, the Ubuntu community will probably provide a graphical utility on the LiveCD to fix this, but for now, those instructions are it.

Good luck!

Yes, we can give slightly more specific help if you like but that guide is pretty good really.

Do you still have the Kubuntu Cd and can you boot up from it?

Windows isn't really able to handle the competition but we can work around that so that both OSs can work well together :)

Good luck and regards from
Tom :)

Can you help with this problem?
