Repair crashed ubuntu os without data loss

system was running with multi boot with win-xp,fedora & ubuntu. System crashed due to some issue and bootloader stopped with Error code 17. Tried to recover using ubuntu live CD, but no go.
Then tried to rewrite grub using fedora and its succeffull with fedora &win-xp boot, But not able to boot with ubuntu.

Could you please letme know how to recover ubuntu bootloader with data.

You will need to add the extra boot option to the bootloader fedora uses (I believe it's LILO) to boot Ubuntu up.

Can you see th ubuntu partition in fedora? and read the info on the ubuntu partition?

Err, i meant that if you can't see ubuntu's partitions nor read any data on it then it could be tricky - lol, don't try to copy the data into here lol!
