Hi ! I have formatted by Windows XP . I have a backup of my boot loader in a (Rescue) Floppy. I created it with startup manager. Now I am using floppy only to boot Linux. How to restore the bootloader into HardDisk ? Please help..!

Once you've booted into a linux get to a command-line and type

sudo grub

find /boot/grub/stage1

this should give answers like (hd0,2) or maybe (hd1,1), please let us know what answers you get on your machine.
