Grub loader: Error 21 (unable to log in to ubuntu)

Asked by shri81

Tried to make my USB a bootable device not sure if I was successfull. Got a prompt to restart the computer not unable to log in.

The first message that I get when I try to log in is Grub loader Error 21.
and then no activity at all.

I use Ubuntu on my comp and do not have dual boot option.

I have no clue how to get access to my computer or how to remove this error message.

Please help me log in.

I had the same problem with my HP dv9500 laptop. i was able to resolve the issue by going into the bios and telling the computer to boot from USB-HD instead of USB-floppy i had two or three different usb boot options. you may have something similar.

Nhasian thank you for your response I tried that too but did not work.
Marcobra: I did go through the instances, honestly I did not have the patience. I just did a complete re installation on my comp.
