change default boot to wundows 7

Asked by Jbg2

I have windows 7, windows vista and ubuntu installed. When I installed windows 7 ,it took away mouse and keyboard from boot menu. I can change default boot in windows from control panel. Terminal tells me that Cp menu.lst is not a directory. I got instructions fromubuntu help on dual boot with windows also Changing the default operating system to boot. What did I do wrong?

could you do something like this:

go to "Applications"-->"Accessories"-->"Terminal" and click it, then type

more ../../../../boot/grub/menu.lst

and paste the output here.

This would have fixed my problem, had I counted right. Never the less I was left with a system that booted into Mem Test. Under stand that when I installed Windows 7 all three systems were listed in the menu, but I had no keyboard or mouse, nor could I get to C-mos. I took it to a friend who is in the business, He took the c-mos battery out and put it back in.It reset itself and I was back in business. Thanks! Novis Jack
