When you restart after installing Ubuntu, you should see a screen with both operating systems listed, letting you chose which one to boot... If you don't see this screen you need a boot loader. Ubuntu should have installed GRUB by default. sorry, i can't be of more help, i haven't had a dual boot machine for a while.

Are you really already install Ubuntu? Like Samuel said, when you turn on your computer you will have grub screen that let you to choose which one to boot, like this

- Ubuntu 8.10
- memtes
- Windows xp

(sorry i don't remember all of it)

You need to install a boot loader to boot a ubuntu system.
And a boot loader allows you to choose which system you want, windows or ubuntu or others.
Thus, you need to install a boot loader; try to install "grub for dos"

for your reference:
grub for dos: http://linux.softpedia.com/get/System/Boot/GRUB-for-DOS-3507.shtml

If you already have a grub installed, you need to keep pressing the "Esc" key when you start you PC.
Then a menu will show up.

Otherwise, install grub4dos

What do you mean by "windows xp doesn't work". You cannot login in windows? Have you chosen to boot up windows?
Keep pressing the "Esc" key when you start you PC, then a menu will show up.

Maybe you need to modify your wireless configuration.

You not must keep pressing the "Esc" key when you start your pc, just give it time to choose. Open startupmanager (if already installed), just set up the grub time ...
