just installed ubuntu, how do I now delete the XP partition??

Hello
I just installed Ubuntu
and when I load my computer it's giving me the option between Ubuntu and Windows XP.
is it now possible to remove XP from the computer without having to reinstall UBuntu?

install gparted

sudo apt-get install gparted

and delete windows partition

Then you can, booting from Ubuntu live cd using gparted, resize (expand) your existing Ubuntu etx3 partition to bring the free space (old xp NTFS partition) back.
